Every child learns differently. At Wharton Preschool, we honour that through a customised learning journey that nurtures your child from Infant Care to Primary 1 Readiness.

At Wharton Montessori Preschool, our low teacher-child ratio allows educators to truly understand each child's learning pace, personality, and developmental needs, ensuring every child receives the guidance and attention they deserve.
Our Montessori approach encourages children to learn through child-led, individualised activities that nurture confidence, focus, and independence at their own pace. At the same time, we incorporate thematic experiences and enrichment classes that create opportunities for children to collaborate, communicate, socialise with peers, and discover their unique interests in a meaningful way.
As an inclusive preschool, we provide personalised guidance and support for children who may require additional encouragement, including early intervention support when needed. At the same time, children who are ready for more advanced learning are given access to enriching materials and opportunities that allow them to continue thriving at their own pace.
Our teachers provide regular updates on your child's growth, development, and learning experiences to keep you closely involved and informed throughout their preschool journey. We also create meaningful opportunities for parent involvement through celebrations, school events, and community bonding activities across the year.
Instead of just delivering lessons, we nurture meaningful learning outcomes through customised learning.

A low teacher–child ratio allows educators to give each child more personalised attention, supporting their learning, development, and individual needs. Smaller class sizes help children feel secure, confident, and engaged, while enabling closer supervision and stronger relationships with teachers and peers.
Below is a reference of how our teacher to child ratio compares to ECDA's requirement.

We welcome children from as young as 2 months old through our Infant Care programme (2–17 months), as well as Playgroup to Kindergarten (18 months to 6 years 11 months). Not sure which programme is the right fit for your child? Our team will be happy to guide you and recommend the most suitable level during your centre tour.
Small class sizes mean every child is genuinely noticed. Our teachers spend the first weeks building a relationship before pushing academic progress. Shy children often surprise their parents here.
Yes, our centre is conveniently located at Admirax Building, with easy access from Sembawang, Woodlands, and surrounding areas.
For families who require additional convenience, we also offer transport services at an additional fee. Feel free to speak with our educators during your visit, and we’ll be happy to guide you on the best route to reach us.
Our curriculum goes beyond hands-on Montessori learning. We offer a holistic Tri-Curriculum approach that ensures children are exposed to a wide range of skills and learning experiences.
Through thematic classes that nurture creativity, curiosity, and social skills, advanced language programmes that strengthen bilingual proficiency, and a diverse range of enrichment activities that support overall development, we provide children with a well-rounded educational foundation.
It depends on the child, and we will talk through it honestly during the tour. Many of our current families switched after an unsettling experience elsewhere. A structured, familiar environment helps children readjust faster than most parents expect.
The first six years shape the next sixty. You already know that. A 45-minute tour will tell you everything a brochure cannot.
